THE BRIEF
The WIL (Work Integrated Learning) subject provided the opportunity to work with real-life client IndiBrew, a beverage partner with impact. The project focused on strengthening their connection with their audience while supporting their mission of empowering Indigenous people. Key deliverables included the redesign of two in-house beverage products, a refreshed colour palette, and updated typefaces — all while retaining the existing logo.

Delivering a Better Future Together
O'Brien is an award-winning gluten-free beer that replaces traditional wheat with ancient grains. Inspired by the unconventional ingredients, the concept “against the grain” was created. The bold packaging design therefore features ancient Greek Olympians and bold lines representing the grain. These visuals, paired with O’Brien’s flavor-specific color palette, create a striking identity that connects to IndiBrew’s overall impact.

As part of the project, the project team designed a market stand to engage and connect with potential clients while creating a strong brand presence. In addition, posters specifically for events where IndiBrew serves beverages have been created. These posters introduce guests to the brand and highlight IndiBrew’s mission, effectively communicating the positive impact of supporting their business.
